TO OUR BELOVED Mama

by Alex Yew 1   Nov 11, 2005

Mama, you have raised me for 20 years,
whatever you say, i listen with my ears,
although sometimes you find me naughty,
thankfully, i am better than donkey.

I am always being lazy,
but not so noisy,
teachers canned me for hundred times,
they neglected my pride.

Still recall, you took me to see doctor
whenever i fell sick, indeed, a caring mother,
very often, i would vomit & stomach ache,
right after my recovery, you would buy me a cake.

Gogo and i were fighters,
we could fight ferociously without hesitation,
knowing that sometimes you lost your patience,
still, you shower us with lots of care & passion.

You knew that my math was lousy,
thinking that i may end up like a sissy,
but you have never expected that
i would get into UPM and be a teacher one day.

Mama, you still look so young & gentle,
even my classmates thought you was my sister,
once i heard a kid called me uncle,
my face turned red became a Digi monster.

Now, we are grown ups,
yeah we look big but unlike pig,
see, we have bought you a necklace,
this shows our thoughtfulness.

This necklace represents our sincerity,
by wearing this, no one will call you auntie,
to us, Mama remains beautiful and attractive
throughout our lifetime!!
