Ann!!! OMG our poem turned out to be really inspiring and I loved it!! It was fun e-mailing back and forth and I know that won't be our first ever written poem!

What an extremely powerful message and poem within these lines ..
You both did an incredible job ..
They way it flowed together is almost like you were both seeing and revealing through one set of eyes..

We have to erase the pain within our heart
This is what God wants us to do
Forgive those that hurt us
And he'll always pull us through.

This part was so true .... in order to put the pain behind us we must first forgive ...

we just talked about this stuff in youth group last night and about anger and how much words hurt. great poem! both of you did a lovely job! the poem flew by so fast. those lines above are great! i just love them and they have so much truth!

"She started hanging with a new crowd
Blowing me off like i wasn't there
Deep inside I was burning with fire
But I acted as if I didn't care."

^^ that's happened to e a lot and i know it's tough. we were friends for about 6 years and she just left me and my other friend behind. it hurts it really does. i love this poem so much because of the degree i can relate to the words. this has a powerful message and i love the ending. it really tied to poem together and showed the power of god and his willing to protect you. all you have to do is ask. wonderful job both of you!
