Like the Rain

by ntv650   Feb 16, 2006

You wash over me like rain.
Like empty streets, country lanes,
The cloudless sky, physical pain
Like adrenaline flow, summer's haze
You wash over me like the rain.

Your gentle voice, pleasant ways
Echo horses galloping on the chase.
Or like a mimick of a willows sway,
Your softly hair falls out of place
And washes over me like rain.

The waking dew and evening fade,
Life's decisive walks, ponderous strays
Take me like your touch, take me away.
And fall, wash over me.- Like the rain.
