I don't even feel sad when I read this poem. It seems to me that all we can ask for when it comes to life and death is that we are as happy as can be, and that when we die, we die with a smile. I think the shortness of this poem is testimony to how abrupt death can be, and how short life is.

i think this poem really signifies the fact that death isnt a bad thing, and that when we die, we should just hope we die in peace.
