Just Me

Something happened
I'm not the new me
I thought I lost it..
Lost it all

I'm here again.
sad or happy,
just glad I'm me
and no one else

I don't have to pretend anymore
There's no use for it
I've found the one thing
That'll bring me here

To write a poem
is who I am
To express my feeling
is what i am doing

I'm not afraid
I'm not feeling anything
Just me right now
and breathing again.

I wished to forget
And so I did.
Just me right now...
breathing once more.
