    Hmm interesting poem...the second stanza makes me feel like the person has died, maybe. So the prisoner would be whoever has died I suppose.
    I did enjoy this poem very much, the flow is fluent and descriptions subtle but vivid. Good job.

    I must have read almost all of your poems. Not commented on them all sure but nevertheless read most of them. They're really beautiful and haunting. You're definately going on my favorites list :)

    I almost thought the prisoner was the ocean but it didnt make sense..and the only guess I have is that it's a clock? Time? I'm not sure but a good riddle nonetheless

    I think the prisoner is time. I thought this was brilliantly written. The rhyme scheme is ace and its just so greatly written. You capture the sadness in losing time so well(if time is the prisoner). Well Done
