At my brother’s book the other day (he’s 9) and one of the
Things that they had to write about was “write a letter to God”
But instead of letting them to use their own imagination, they
Had given some words and the children had to write a letter
With those given words. And I thought that’s just so stupid.
they should use their own imagination especially at this age.
In school, children should learn not to be afraid to give their
own ideas and respect each other’s opinions and don’t accept
every given opinion so easily.

I agree completely with your message in this. It is a shame that children don't use their imagination anymore. I blame not only parents and society for stifling that but also video games and television.
When I was growing up, we had TV and Atari (old school nintendo). But I wasn't allowed to sit inside all day. Heck, I didn't want to anyway. It was always more fun to play outside.
Anyway, well done on the poem. I really like how you ended it.
