    What an interesting write. For me, I felt for a moment like I was taken back into childhood, when we didn't know how difficult that yellow brick road of life was going to be ... but the blinders came off ... and I walked along with you through the ups and downs ... sharing the pain through the years. Perhaps I was Toto!

    Wow, Gary. This is so powerful, especially that last line... The creativity in this poem is amazing, every word was perfectly chosen.
    "like the tin man
    I feel so hollow, for it is hard
    to have a heart
    when walking alone."
    ^^^ I especially love this stanza, simply incredible.. This is by far one of my favorite poems ever, love it to bits! :o)

    Gary everything you write is amazing! I really liked the comparrisons to the caracters of Oz. One of my all time favorite movies. Great work!
