As You Sleep

I see you lying there,
I can not help but stare,
So peaceful,
So serene,
It is like you are a dream,
For hours I just stay up to look,
Making sure you are real,
So I give your face a feel,
You are a masterpiece,
You are one of a kind,
And some how you are mine,
As you sleep I wonder if you
think about me,
Do I ever play a main role
in one of your dreams,
I know how crazy some of this seems,
But late at night my favorite thing
to do is see your face,
Even your cute freckles
all over the place,
So as you sleep and dream away,
Right beside you is where I lay.
