My dear mother

by Ahmed Mamdouh   Apr 25, 2006

Who could I turn to,
Next to God, but you,
My Mother who loves me,
With that Mothers love, so True.

My Mother, who is there,
When I need a friend.
Always ready and able,
For my problems, to tend.

My Mother, who is there,
When I'm down, sick or crying,
Even when my life's path,
Full of knots, needs untying.

What could I say,
But God bless you, my Mother,
True friends, you and God,
There are not, many others.

What back, could I give,
But just words, I love You
And what back might I ask,
Knowing you love me too.

Thank you, Dear Mother,
My one, real best friend,
In thanks, I thank God,
And for you, prayers I send.

    I love this poem!
And I am amazed to see a guy caring about his mother as much as you to write a poem about her! Keep up the good writing! :D I love this poem
