So quickly the time has passed
why must it get here so fast?
awaiting the hours to finally step up on that stage
knowing that the real world is out there to take me away
it\'s finally time they call out my name
i\'m so scared now \"oh the pain\"
i must get up it\'s time to go
i walk up the stairs ever so slow
up on that stage everyone\'s cheering
it\'s so loud i can\'t help but hearing
i think of my friends as my diploma i take
and then of my future as someone\'s hand i shake
i hop down the stairs
i can\'t believe that i\'m done
i wipe a few tears
smile and i\'m gone
