OMG Chelsey that poem really touched my heart . Momma has a terrible confession " I smoke" .......I have for almost 20 years . I tell my oldest son all the time "don't ever start smoking it is so hard to quite .

It seems so funny that I have the will power to fight a disease that could blind and cripple me yet I can't seem to find the will to kick the habit that could kill me . And it's something that I myself can control unlike M.S.

Cigarettes seem to be my stress reliever , my problem fixer yet they slowly are killing me .

Thank-you for this prayer Chels , you have touched more than you will ever know, my dear .......
Love ya , you truly are my......A.I.D

Oh goodness titta again you made me feel terrible! I too have gone back to my old ways I tried to quit smoking but was unsuccessful IM SORRY I know its bad and I know the damage it causes, what you need to know is the power of addiction and how hard it can be to quit something that you have used for so many years, i was younger than you when I started smoking, the only time I quit was when I was pregnant. Its not that I dont WANT to quit its just so darn hard titta...this got me thinking all the same would love to do a colloab with you on this if your interested...your write touched me its another reason why i wanna quit i dont wanna leave my boys early in life because I wasted my health smoking you have brought up some awesomely valid and very true points :o)

Damn... What a powerful, deep and meaningful write. Such a beautiful prayer. Here in the UK smoking is becoming more and more banned in public places. Sadly I don't think it will stop smoking at all. I hope it stops soon though. Thing is, while manufacturers make their money then it won't stop :(

Great write though, touching and beautifully rhymed.

Aww...this poem was sweet and sad. I really hope your family can get out of their habbits. My best friend's mom (who is like my mom) smokes to and I pray for her to quit and not get cancer. Wonderful job.
