Your poem was beautiful and the vocab range was just bringing your poem to life. I might send this to afriend of mine who's in the military. My favorite piece of imagery was a baby's eyes opening. It was so innocent and pure that I loved it when Ir ead it and still do. A unique and beautiful description. The only thing I suggest is probably adding an s to freedom in this sentence to make the line make sense:
    The land where freedom grow

Fantastic imagry in this peice, and well written in general. i espessially like the final line it closes the poem very well and just seems to say so much in such a small space.

Beautiful. I really liked the unique perspective. All to often the life a soldier is portrayed in such an ugly manner, their occupation and the travesty of war too easily confused with the intent and will of the individual and I think that this portrayal is much more forgiving. That someone should wish to fight for peace, for what nobler cause is there? Great write. The imagery was stunning. 5/5 x
