Intriguing and so well written as always. The way you describe things so out of text, but still making sense always astounds me.
Love this part:

"cruelty drools off those pathetic tongues
as kindness sticks between pearly white teeth"

Wow, that was a really good poem Melissa. I really liked the metaphors and personification. It really makes me look back at English class and say, 'so I will use this in the future!' haha. You wrote some really cool lines. Awesome stuff!

I read and re-read this poem a few times . The wording was so amazing it leaves me speach-less .
