Seasons (Acrostic)

Seasons (Acrostic)
6/6/04

Sitting here in a sweltering heat
Under a torn up umbrella
My memories of a young child come back...
Making lemonade too sweet
Everyone throwing pennies in a wishing well
Running after the truck for an ice cream attack

Why does it seem so cold?
In Maryland here it gets quite shi**y
Night starts around five....
Turning its anger on those who are old
Everything covered in white down in the city
Ravens football makes the people feel quite alive

Settling down for a nice cool breeze
Pepsi firmly in my hands
Robins singing in the red leaf trees
Igniting love`s true fans
Never a more thrilling sight
GOD is shining his heavenly light

Fall has the leaves falling on the ground
All the clouds turn the sky gray
Leaving a sunset that will astound
Leading the birds to fly the other way
