my dad is abusive as well, but only when he's had a hard day @ work . . .
i know he loves me, but sometimes it doesn't feel like it, right?

my fingers become numb as i begin to type this.. my father is the same. despises me. treats me horrible.. acts as if i've never been there. and i too wonder if he'd even change his thoughts about me if i were to leave this place.. we act as if we're tough and that this doesnt really hurt us. but deep down its killing us more than anyone knows. a "father".. thats what i wish i had in my life.. someone to love me for who i am. to smile just at the slightest glance of me. to say i love u daughter.. to call me daddys little girl. those things will never happen to girls like us... and it kills us inside. very good poem... ur words made me speechless.
