Very cute! I really like the ending - kind of a 'twist'! :)

A few comments, I'd go through and put commas in where there are natural pauses like, for example, this line:

"Sorry Fred, this just can't be"

Also capitalize Fred in that line (I'm sure it was just a typo :)).

But Fred says he just can't care less
Bogeymen like to live that way
So in a mess my room must stay.

Interesting write. Such a calm and honest write kind of like a very young child. I loved the ending, perfect and how the monster sounds real, scary, and ever presant, just like how little kids think. Nice work. amazing I loved this poem.
