The hands on the clock are slow and the pains are growing fast
with every contraction i wait for you and long to have you in my grasp
come on baby girl am waiting, for you to finally become a part of me.
forever you will be protected my little life - my eternity.
the last second finally ticks as you arrive at nine seventeen, head, shoulders hands and feet my baby girl you eventually be-come seen.
wow i cant believe we done it as you ponder and let out a cry.
a fine healthy girl she says the midwife then winks her eye.
well now daddy she says to me heres your new life so enjoy it forever so.
i hold her softly and shed some tears saying am your daddy and i will never let you go.
well its time to brand you, with Kaitlyn to be known forever
baby girl you are now a being something like life you will endeavor.
Kaitlyn am sorry to say this but i need to sleep before you cry for feed.
i love you and cherish you with heart and soul i will be here for your every need.
