Singing With Mom

by Connie   Jul 27, 2006

When I was a young girl, my Mom would always sing
Her love of music rubbed off onto me.
I can remember we'd sing all the time...
At home, in the care ~ wherever, it didn't matter.

I'm sure I knew all the oldies - I mean real oldies
Mom and Dad loved the older songs, so that's what we'd sing.
As a family we'd watch "Sing Along With Mitch" and the "Lawrence Welk Show"
It kinda became like a weekly family tradition.

To this day I still love to sing
It's definitely only for my own pleasure.
No Kate Smith did I ever become, but...
Believe me, I can bellow out just like her!
