My family always tries sway my decisions,
They only think about what they want me to do,
At times I feel,
I am the only person I can listen to,

In the end, you are the only one who can make decisions for yourself, because you will be the one living your life with the choices that you make. You just have to do what you feel is right and makes you happy. I guess we can only prepare ourselves for what the future holds, and try to embrace it. Great poem!
