A day of thanks

by katie   Nov 23, 2006

It's a day of thanks
were family and friends get together
to talk bout the good all days
and dream of turkey and Pie

It's a day to watch the maces parade
and eat peanuts lead out in a basket
it's the day were the first snow falls
and all the kids go sledding down Mr. Clause Snowy hill

Once the turkey is done and the rolls are close to burning
the family all site down and enjoy the biggest meal of the year
they bow their heads and say a pray for those who are less unfortunate
Dad cuts the turkey while mom brings out the cranberry sauce. and we all get stuffed with over 5 to 6 plates full of over flowing food.

At the end of the meal we say our good buys till the next Holiday Christmas.
After the family has left, the kitchen is to be cleaned of the food not eaten and half eaten pies.
Then they all go to sleep and wake early for yet another Holiday Black Friday.
