this comment might not be one of those amazing comments that touch your heart like all my others, because well, it's mad late right now, but i dragged myself over to the computer anyways 'cos I promised.

Mmm, first off, I really like this one, because while reading it, it's so easy to relate to. I think everyone experiences these emotions at least once, and this poem is a beautiful way to sum up all the thoughts that go through one's mind at the time.

Although you can immediately feel close to this poem, that doesn't mean it doesn't also sound very personal. It sounds very laura-esque, knowing you a bit, I can see your personality dashed in here or there. you may have pulled a few lines from songs here or there, but I still think you managed to keep it yours.

Oh, I also wanted to add, whenever reading your poems, the flow is very song-like, and fun to read. I make a few words rhyme and thats poetry enough for me, yours seems to come a lot more natural.

stand out parts would be the really cool shore metaphore (ooh I am a poet), and the gig too busy to see.
also the whole 'less than average' title, that really ties everything together so well.

Yeah, its a good poem, u dont deserve diz comment vo, its lyk, rly good, sum gud metaphors, yeah, lyke a song, pretty damn gud, yeah, s'abit good n, sht n stuff. Yea. Rly like how u portrayed sum lines by referin to love as a spotted dog.
