Christmas in Hawkes Bay, New Zealand

by Bridget   Dec 11, 2006

Sitting outside, in the bright sunshine
Admiring our presents, which are so fine
Wet and refreshed, straight from the pool
And stuffed with ham, feeling so full.

Laughing and talking, with our family
In the front window, we can see the Christmas tree
Christmas cake smells, wafting through the air
Everyone's so happy, with not one worry or fear.

This is what happens on my favourite day
A day so special, in Hawke's Bay
This day is Christmas, the 25th of December
A day for me to always remember!
