When swans kiss, we dance

by Brett   Dec 12, 2006

Your grace, and dancing swans
too late to touch, to wait
a dance, a spell, cast over me
pull my eyes down, speak softly,

tongue's our satin sheet, thrown over.

covered lovers at play, a day
to cast the shade away.

the sun's no brighter than when I delight her!

pulsating breaths escape her skin
her spirit sweats, soars; descends
caught and mingled in the tingle
of rising stars and oceans, the motions of a captured moonlight in emotion, cascade commotion-

-what a notion!

Your face, of heavens space, a chase to taste and kiss and breath in haste.

before it's gone, and romance fade
we'll light the world, and burn away
the creeping grey, from our passion play
and all the useless words we say

inside of you, we dance
inside of you, we dance
