You know what, this poem was so sad yet it made me smile as well because the way i read it, it showed the unconditional love this little girl had, whether he was busy or not.
It was beautiful in a way.
I'm probably not explaining myself very well..
I also loved the repetition you used, it really got the point across.

Wow. This was really amazing. It had a lot of detail & emotion in it. Very good imagery, as well. It was sad. yet, so beautiful. Because it shows how much love this girl had for him.. So it made me smile, yet i was sad.. lol. Confusing? Sorry.

A couple things, though:

He always provided for us
With all the we needed [ I think 'the' should be 'that']

But I never lost my love for you
And my respect grew ever stronger [& I think 'ever' should be 'even']
