Birthdays! (alphabet poem)

A for the absence of bad and unhappy air
B for the balloons and the big birthday cheer
C for the cake which fills me with so much delight
D for the dancing with my best friends all night
E for the excitement I feel when i wake up on my special day
F for friends and family who have nice things to say
G for the grandparents who give me lots of hugs
H for the hot chocolate in my cool, brand new mug
I for imagining the big day the night before
J for the jolly music which makes my ears sore
K for the kindness, everyone being so kind to me
L for the lollies i lick and savour happily
M for the meals, what we have is my choice
N for the neighbours who get sick of all the noise
O for the overwhelment I feel when i see everything nicely decorated
P for the party where no one is feeling hated
Q for the questions, people asking me about it at school the day after
R for the radio, my favourite present which brought me smiles and laughter
S is for special, this is sure one special day
T for Tuesday, the first Tuesday of May
U for unreal, everything seems so unreal it is really that great
V for the vegetables, none of these things that I hate
W for woohoo! This one word I want to shout
X for my new xylophone, one thing I can\'t live without
Y for the yawn i give at the end of the big day
Z for zillion, a zillion great things gave happened today, and that\'s what I can definitely say!

*by the way i wrote this poem 2 years ago as well, I've only really got in2 writing poems recently, i just wrote this and the clouds 1 because i had to for school at intermediate.*
