Theres No Smiles This Christmas

by Lillye   Dec 22, 2006

Theres no smiles this Christmas
No laughter to be heard
No Christmas lights to hide the darkness
Normality is preferred

No Christmas cake nor meat filled pies
Deep anger and hate is all that lies
Beneath the forest fir tree this December time
Presents neatly wrapped with bows and ties
But here the jolly mood forever dies
This happy time id once wish come sooner,
Is a cold miserable day id come to dread.

I love it.. really meaningful, yet it allows the reader to create their own situation.
