Chrismas cheer?

Laying by the Christmas tree
Starring but nothing do I see
Trying to figure out lifes ways
But none of the answers seem to stay

Why do I feel like this?
Just a week ago in complete bliss
Now my mind is making me sick
Why wont the happiness stick?

Christmas is a time for cheer
Everyone you love is near
But my heart feels so alone
The reason unknown

Maybe because you left me...
Or because no one can seem to see
I am hurt
To happiness desperately trying to convert

Wish it was all over
Want to find my four leaf clover
Time is supposed to heal
But the pain is still so real

I put on a happy face
Pretending depression is not the case
Christmas is not the same
With out you it is all kinda lame!
