Awesome i remember when my dad used to shoot me with a shot gun ahhh gd times (joke) this is an awesome poem i think you should get all your best dark poems and publish a dark poem book.

Very nice poem..it flows well and it carries a good amount of emotions....its a real sad poem....

I am glad you added that it is not your life nor your dad.it is very well done and very heart touching really had me thinking about what it must be like for a child to fear the hand of their father and brought a tear to my eye.
