Christmas Time

by NytherHerenorTher The hooded poet   Feb 21, 2007

All the familiar smells that come every year,

and all the familiar voices that we hold so dear

The trees, the lights, the cooking and visiting,

all the while finding time for caroling

There's a nip in the air, a song in everyones hearts,

that makes them want to go shopping with three different carts

But in all the hustle and bustle, and all the chaos and cooking,

let us not forget the real meaning

It's a time for love, a time to share,

a time to show others that you really care

But most of all, yes it's true, it's all about Jesus,

who came for me and you
