Wow! What a great poem about Poe's love for Lenore. His death from alcohol. You nailed this Deb :)Word choices and flow were excellent.

What choice for me, a life alone?
Her quiet crypt my welcome home
    Tainted bottle beckons nigh
Upon my lips a tortured sigh

    Loved the ending.
    Love you Cindy

Death from a bottle is always saddening. It seems especially heart wrenching however when the sips are out of pain from losing the one we love.

You wrote this piece very mystically and romantically at the same time. I find that this is the one challenge I have failed to overcome.

Wow. You have a beautiful vocabulary, and in this poem you showed it off brilliantly. The first few stanzas were a bit confusing at first, however everything was more clear at the end of the poem. 5/5
