Unending glory

by kaygix   Apr 26, 2007

A long time ago in Bethlehem
On a moonless night
Flocks for once gazed into the skies
Feeble bones receive strength
And dying hearts of shepherds
Were filled with long awaited joy

And in a small dark corner
Three candles bowed
And worshiped the glory
Of the Light of hope

After a thousand and a thousand years
On such a day, the unending glory
Of that Light is born in our hearts
Giving us peace in the mist of troubles
And assuring us of life hereafter
