Wow I liked this poem.. and I agree with Laura it does sound like lyrics. Losing a friend is one of the most painful things out there and its so hard to stop once its set in motion.. I loved the word choices and from them I felt all of your pain. Wonderful write. The first stanza was definatly my favorite because of the image you described. thanx for sharing this with us all.
