I wrote this for an event that hasn't happened in my life yet. But I know it will, it is inevitable. One day my mom will pass on and on that day I will lose that person who has always been there fr me. So I've been preparing in my own little way since mom is getting older. I've written several poems for others who have lost loved ones. But this one I think all can relate to. Thanks for reading my humble words. Hugs from Doug!
