This was a powerful write. You are a flippin machine tonight. I've loved both new poems you wrote and I'm sure I'll love the other two as well. Keep up the amazing work.

"But, every now and then..
There's something deep inside.
That triggers my mind
to be as cold as you."

That ending stanza sent chills down my spine.
The mind is a very complex machine and sometimes it seems to do things beyond our control, anad against our will.
I love how you used the trigger metaphor
