Seduction by Blood

by Meghan   May 3, 2007

She kept his picture in her silver locket
She showed it to him as she slipped the knife from her
pocket
Ever so slowly she slid steel across her wrist
And she bit her lip to bleeding, for want of a kiss

He tried to fight the urge as his teeth grew sharp
Straining to ignore the delicious beating of her heart
She undid her top few buttons to put a slash across her chest
Struggling not to lose his grip, crimson poured onto her
breasts

She took a step forward, he took two back and stumbled
Her blood slowly dripping, pride in his self-restraint humbled
His torn and tortured reason was being tossed and tumbled
He clawed hopelessly at the floor, his will long passed
crumbled

(A/N: This is double-listed under dark and romance because I just can't make a clear distinction for this one. It's based on a novel I'm writing, where a vampire is seduced by a mortal stalker who seduces him with her blood.)
