Love this poem. My grandkids are going to be so happy when they come to see me :) I plan on reading them all the great poems from RTVW. Imagery in this is excellent. Flow and word choices great.

I finally picked him up
And tossed him on the floor
He gave a growl and slowly rose
And walked out of my door.

I love the ending of this piece. Just picturing this brought a smile to my face :)
