This piece is so funny. It reminds me of the one that got away. LMAO
What wonderful imagery in this poem. I had such a hard time picking my favorite part.

Then he did the oddest thing
He flipped that way and this
He jumped up off the ground
And kissed me on the lips.

While I was busy wiping off
The gritty awful stench
He gave a hearty laugh at me
And back in the lake he went.

These two stanzas really had me laughung.

It made me so excited to go fishing though. I'm a fish fanatic. May 18th whooohooo it opens ..
Almost every weekend in the summer we leave Friday afternoon and come back on Sunday ...
Mostly catch and release ...
