I wrote this in memory of my great grandpa. He passed away at 3am on march 23 2004, i had my son at 3:01am on march 23 2004. This is my way of sayin thank you to him for being there for me that night. Grandpa where ever you are, i want you to know that i love you and miss you. I wish you could be here to see this little man that i have you would love him and think he is great. I will see you again soon someday...REST IN PEACE

Wow. this poem made me cry. it's so beautiful and sad at the same time. I'm glad your son pulled through alright though. My god father, the closest person in the world to me, died when my son was only 4 months old. The only grandson he would ever see. I hope things are ok for you. Great poem! 5/5
