Your eyes

by Chris Robertson   May 11, 2007

Everything was dark,
When I was walking alone,
Through the foggy roads of my life.

Confusion and fear,
Were the rulers of my mind,
Not letting me see,
Any further than my nose.

One night of vein shadows,
I saw a light,
As bright as the shining sun,
As clear as diamonds,
Like the ocean blue that refreshes the night.

It was your eyes,
And I swam deep inside of them,
And the night wasn't night anymore.

Yes, your eyes satisfy my soul.
