I'm struggling to grasp the deeper meaning here, and also the use of "Doest". I've read this poem 3 times now and can't decide if it's about overcoming a devastated crop, or just the complexities of rural life. If the ambiguity is intended, then the 4th stanza leaves the 3rd redundant.
