Today started off with ole morning glory
Today was the day that changed a soldiers story
Today was the day that many people died
Today was the day that the shoelaces to my boots were actually tide!!!

Today was the day my uniform was creased
Today was the day a nation lost it's peace
Today was the day of sadness for all
For many lost their lives
For many watched them fall
Ijnow this day to be very true
Because I myself lost my brothers and sisters too!
