Loved this one ,and I think every mother will relate to this one.I don't have a daughter myself but it kinda got me thinking about the kinda realtionship I have with my own mother.Through my teenage years I would shrug off everything she said and tell her to stop nagging but now I am adult and I look back I think maybe I should have listened to my mum more.Very well done with this one.

    Beautiful poem.
The emotions from a mother to her child are beautiful described.
Flow, rhyming and word choice are great.
    A pleasure to read.
    Take care

Beautifully done! The empathic emotion drawn out by the characters endears the poem to me. I guess I'll look forward to understanding my mother's point of view in due time. She usually pictured me as the 8-year-old Debbie she had left behind seven years ago, which then results to an occasional misunderstanding and such-to's. *shrugs* I know not her thoughts and feelings at the moment, but what I do know is that... she loves me. I'm certain of it.

I'm truly delighted with this piece -- it's so touching! Thanks for sharing, ladies! {;)

    "Hating seeing her heart break
I'm not ready to let her go
Much to young to be tied down
Needs to take things much more slow"

I thought these lines were beautiful! 5/5

Wow, this is beautiful! I love the two authors, the way it switches back and forth, and this is something I can relate to, being my mom's only girl...This is a great poem! I love it.
