Wow, this is an amazing poem and dont let others tell you differntly. My favorite stanza was this one :

It Swallows All My Happiness,
And Drains My Heart Of Hope,
Then It Smashes At My Inner Strength,
And It Chokes Me With A Rope

Don't get me wrong all of the stanza's where brilliant but this one stood out to me. I really love poems like these. Depression is my style too everytime I try to make a happy story it ends in a death woop woop go me? lol xxxx Much Love From Roxy

Okay! first thing your poem is very, very nice that is to say though its so sad and the way you express it i include the content- i like it a lot- and again on the content- your imagination touches my heart i can feel all that happening to me- there is the situation whereby you see why they say life is hard and thats is where when everything is seem to fall apart of which is the situation i also passed through but all what is needed is to hold on- phenomenal poem.

OH how I loved that ending.

This was another well written piece. I’m sure I’m not the first to say this, but I liked how you gave ‘depression’ its own identity. Making it a creature. I loved the wording in this piece. At first, the tone was a quiet, informed, confident one, but in the last three stanzas, it turned to a more ‘in your face’ aggressive one, well, at least it was to me. Another good piece.
