I don't exactly know why, but this touched me deeply... This poem is excellent, absolutely amazing from the beginning to the end, and very true. I like the topic that you picked and the message that you portrayed here.
Every stanza is truly greatly written.

This is a great poem in that it tells a story and has meaning.. but there really isn't too much rhythm in it. Don't get me wrong; the main importance of a poem is the meaning... but maybe putting some sort of cadence to it would make it a bit more... memorable, so to speak. Nice write, either way.
