I'm going to be honest, you had me captivated, and trust me I've refused to rea dpoems for the longest time due to the dullness most have, and loved with the small unique imagery you had and the tone you used to convey it and the hauntingness I felt--until I got to the last line. It was anticlimatic. A question? All that time, even if the poem was short, and you leave it with a question when you could it summed it all up with, "To live another day." or something to that extent. Sorry being honest :)
