My best Christmas

by judith redmount   Nov 12, 2007

Dear friend,

If I could change one day in my life
I would take away all fear
All fighting, shooting would be gone
All deaf, would start to hear

I would like to make the poor so rich
All blinds would start to see
Every sickness I would like to heal
All prisoners would be free

I would give all homeless a better home
And food for them to eat
I would like to visit children with aids
Provide them with books to read

I would give those dying an extra day
The weak I would make strong
I would like to let the cripple walk
Even if it took all day long

This would be my best Christmas
For all the world to see
No matter if you're black or white
Please help me ....let it be

I love your wordage and the flow is great and also love the emotion you put in this poem. The rhyming was simple but sometimes simplicity is the best. By the way, you deserve 5/5 for this one!!!
