That was breathtaking!!

"Please God send me back to the womb
Where I can find a new beginning
Erase the words that cut and bruise
Strip me of the pain of betrayal, that aches

Adored this stanza!!! The pain and sorrow was so powerful throughout the entire poem. What anguish you have penned!!.. Awesome!!!

Oh my goodness! What a magnificent write you have created dear. The form is fantastic. The message of desperate determination to never love again as they have loved is outstanding. What a beautiful write based from the picture.

I like the way you have constructed these verses....very beautiful to read....sad and fitting words to highlight the image you have chosen.

OH this stanza did take my breath.....Love is one of the most painful yet beautiful emotions that we feel. When we lose that love and feel like we can no longer go on. Luanne you have captured these feelings perfectly.
