Sometimes it is our own memories that makes us our own enemy.

We can bury those memories and try to forget, but unless we deal with the emotions that are tied to them they will continue to haunt us at our every turn.

I like how you put this out there for the reader and left us with the mindset that you have not only opened yourself up, but also exposed the rawness that you are feeling.
