Why do we give our heart away when we know its just going to break?

I think the only reason I get my heart broken is because I was never ment to be loved... At all.

I should have learned the first time i gave my heart away. I should have learned the first time I had my heart broken. I should have learned never to give it away again, so why did I do it again?
